Company
Profile
Grossmueller's Classic Corvettes and Parts grew out of a lifelong
interest in corvettes and their restoration. Werner Grossmueller bought
his first corvette, a 1954 with a cadallic V-8 installed, as a high
school junior in 1958. After several engine transplants, the last being
a 1962, 360 H.P. fuel injected 327, the car competed in the B modified
sports class at the local drags.
It was this early background as a hobbyist in racing and restoring that
helped form the company's business philosophy of not only being a parts
supplier but also providing restoration information on assembly, repair
and installation issues. Besides providing an extensive inventory of
original and reproduction parts, Grossmueller's manufactures over 80
items, ranging from accelerator linkage for '53's to bumper brackets
for '58-'62's and other rare parts not readily available from other
sources.
